Solar Energy is being not only the talk of the town now days but talk of PM Narendra Modi also. 

In his recent Mann ki Baat Speech Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi praised many people who are trying to bring change with the help of Technology. Odisha Girl Kunni Deori is one of them. Kunni have developed Solar panels and started a silk reeling Machine which has benefitted nearly 50 Tribal Woman in her village.  

The first and the foremost thing which is appreciable that Kunni’s business does not have to pay the heavy electricity bill instead she gets a cheque for the electricity income is being generated. She is the resident of Kardappal village in Keonjhar district in Odisha. 



At the initial stage Kunni was worried about the massive need of electricity for the Silk reeling machine but her efforts to develop Solar panel helped her business and her employees who are Tribal Woman. She trains the woman on this reeling machine and she sells the Silk to the Silk Centre in Odisha. As she does not need to pay heavy electricity bill; she can pay her employee as per their satisfaction.

After Prime Minister applauded her on Mann Ki Baat she has become an inspiration to many Indian youth.
